Exchange Policy
Sex
and Relationships is usually happy to
exchange links with other websites. If you
manage a website and would like to exchange
links, please read the following:
Step 1:
Consider our exclusion criteria
a) We will
only exchange links with sites which
contain up-to-date and accurate information
on their topic.
b) We will
only link to sites which are respectful of
all people, independent of their gender,
sexual orientation, religion, abilities and
political views.
c) We will
not link to sites which have been penalized
by Google, which is indicated by a white bar
in the page rank window in the Google
Toolbar.
Step 2:
Post a link to http://www.sex-and-relationships.com
on your site
a) Your links
or resources page needs to be linked to
directly from your home page with a link
that is easy to find.
b) It would
be helpful if your links or resources page
is divided into sections.
c) Our link
needs to be easy to find and could be fitted
into categories such as "sexual health",
"relationships", or "health" (however, feel
free to be creative here).
d) Our link
should not be more then 3 clicks away from
your home page. When evaluating your request
for an exchange of links we will take into
account the PR of your resources or links page on
which our link appears.
e) You are
welcome to link to more then one of our
pages on different topics. If you do so we
will reciprocate with an equal amount of
links. Please alter the link text for your
link to us to fit each specific page you are
linking to.
f) We will
not link to any site that tries to hide its
links or resources page.
e) We will
not link to any site that puts links in a
java script code, or runs links through a
CGI script, making links invisible to search
engine spiders.
g) You don't
have to link to our homepage if the content
of your site makes it more logical to link
to a specific page on our site. If you do so
please adapt the link text your are posting
on your site to match the content of the
specific page you are linking to.
Step 3:
Email us
a) Once you
have set up our link from your site please
email Rod at
rod@sex-and-relationships.com with
1) the URL of
the page which contains your link to us,
2) the URL of
your page which you would like to link us
to,
3) your web
site's description in up to 20 words.
b) Please do
not send us logos for links, currently we do
not use any for links.
c) Please
give us a week or so to evaluate your site.
We will get back to anybody who writes to us
about exchanging links.
d) Once we
agree to a link exchange with your site we
will add a link on one of our two resource
pages to your site. We may exercise our
right to alter your link text according to
our own opinion of your site.
e) Our link
page is currently a PR3 according to the
Google toolbar.
